Job Description for Warehouse Order Selector:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Order Selector to join either our warehouse or logistics unit. The perfect candidate will be in charge of executing the operation of forklifts and various warehouse equipment to smoothly and safely handle material loading, unloading, and transportation.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Order Selector:

• Drive industrial vehicles like forklifts to transfer items in the warehouse or storage yard
• Load and offload items from trucks and similar transportation vehicles
• Systematically stack and store goods in their allocated storage spaces
• Check machinery periodically and inform about any mechanical malfunctions
• Double-check that the goods are safely secured and in alignment with safety standards
• Keep precise inventory and shipping logs
• Assist with a range of warehouse tasks, such as selecting and packaging orders as needed
• Comply with safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements for Warehouse Order Selector:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic math and inventory skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required
